Dr. Jackson�to Speak in Anniston |

by Sherry Kughn JSU News Bureau March 1, 2004 -- Accent on the Author will present Harvey H. Jackson III in a book signing/reception sponsored by the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County and The Anniston Star on Wednesday, March 17. Dr. Jackson is professor and�head of the history department at Jacksonville State University. He is the author of "Gone South," a column in The Anniston Star and has written several books. His latest, Inside Alabama: A Personal History of My State, will be the topic of a brief speech at The Anniston Star. The event begins at 5:15 p.m.� Dr.�Jackson will speak at 5:45. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served at the signing. Tickets should be purchased in advance at the library before March 15 at noon. Cost is $5. |
