Army Band To Perform on JSU Campus Feb. 21st |

February 19, 2004 -- The 392nd Army Band
from Fort Lee, Virginia, will perform at Jacksonville State University at
7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 21. Sponsored by the David L. Walters Department
of Music, the concert will be held in the Mason Hall Performance Center and
is free to the public. Under the command of CW4 William Horton, the Band is comprised of soldier musicians from around the country. The Band is on a spring tour that will take it to New Orleans, LA for the annual Mardi Gras festival and parade. At JSU their program will include a variety of selections from standard band classics to popular music favorites. There will be music to appeal to all members of the family. Mason Hall is on Trustee Circle and parking is conveniently located. The Performance Center is located on the top floor of Mason Hall. For further information, call 782-5559. |
