JSU Student Receives National Scholarship Award |

May 15, 2003 --
Jacksonville State University student Emily Padgett of Rome, GA has been
awarded a $1,000 undergraduate scholarship for the 2003-2004 academic year
at JSU by Phi Eta Sigma, the national freshman honor society. Emily is the fifth consecutive JSU student to win the award and is among seven in the last ten years to receive the funding. This year the Society will grant $160,000 in awards to 114 students nationwide for undergraduate or graduate study. |
