JSU Peer Educators Win Area 8 Program of the Year




April 23, 2003 -- The Jacksonville State University Chapter of Bacchus & Gamma, better known as the JSU Peer Educators, in only their second year as an organized group, has been named Area Eight Program of the Year. Area Eight includes universities from Alabama, such as Auburn, Alabama, South Alabama. Also universities from Tennessee, Memphis University, University of Tennessee, Mississippi, such as Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and a variety of other schools. The Peer Educators were recognized at a special Awards Ceremony held on earlier this month in the Gamecock Center of Stephenson Hall.
