JSU SBDC Offers Financing & Recordkeeping Workshop


April 17, 2003 -- Jacksonville State University's Small Business Development Center is sponsoring a workshop entitled FINANCING & RECORDKEEPING for the SMALL BUSINESS on Thursday, May 8, 2003, from 8:30 am until 11:30 am. The workshop will be held at the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, located at 1330 Quintard Avenue in Anniston, AL.

The workshop is sponsored by the Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center, U.S. Small Business Administration, and the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce.

This workshop is for prospective and existing small business owners. Topics include recordkeeping and tax considerations, credit and financing issues and requirements, and financial assistance programs offered by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) and the East Alabama Regional Planning Commission. Speakers will address specific concerns regarding each of the above topics as they relate to the small business environment.

Seating for this workshop is limited and advanced registration is required. All registered attendees will receive a registration folder which will include all materials for the conference.
