Business Opportunities 2003
Conference and Trade Fair
on April 24

April 7, 2003 -- Jacksonville State University's (JSU) Small Business Development Center and Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) are partnering to present a seminar, Business Opportunities 2003 Conference and Trade Fair, on Thursday, April 24, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon at Stephenson Hall on the JSU campus. The seminar is presented to assist small businesses in selling their products and services to the government.

Over eighty companies will be displaying their products and distributing information about their company and product lines. JSU President, William Meehan, and ANAD's Commander, Colonel Gerald Bates, Jr., will welcome exhibitors and attendees at the opening ceremony.

Over one hundred buyers from Anniston Army Depot, as well as purchasing personnel from other governmental agencies and prime contractors, will visit the small businesses participating. Agencies/companies seeking vendors with the best price, quality, and delivery terms available are invited to attend and visit the exhibitors. Business Opportunities 2003 Conference and Trade Fair brings purchasing representatives and contractors together in one place which saves time and effort in making contact with potential business partners.

The Trade Fair is open to the general public and there is no charge for an exhibit space or admission. In addition to the eighty companies, there will be government offices represented and available to talk with attendees. Training will be offered simultaneously with the Trade Fair. Presentations will be given on doing business with the General Services Administration and how to secure subcontracting opportunities
