JSU Chamber Singers |

JACKSONVILLE -- March 5, 2002 --
The JSU Chamber Singers and Brass Choir will present a concert entitled MUSIC FOR A TIME OF PENITENCE on Sunday, March 17, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at The Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Anniston. The Chamber Singers is under the direction of JSU Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Patricia Corbin and the Brass Choir is directed by student conductor, Casey Thomas. In addition to smaller works for choir and brass ensemble, the Chamber Singers will join forces with the Brass Choir to perform featured work, The Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ by Heinrich Schutz (1585-1672). The Church of St. Michael and All Angels is located on 1000 West 18th Street. This concert is free and open to the public. |
