JSU's SBDC Offers Business Start Up Workshop for Veterans


JACKSONVILLE -- April 18, 2001 -- Jacksonville State University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is sponsoring a workshop entitled BUSINESS START UP WORKSHOP FOR VETERANS on Tuesday, April 24, 2001 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Cosponsors are Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and the Department of Veteran Affairs. The workshop will address business start up issues that face an entrepreneur. Topics such as record keeping and taxes, business planning, and Small Business Administration (SBA) lending programs will be covered. Information provided will pertain to anyone wishing to start a business.

The workshop will be held in the Calhoun County Extension Office auditorium, suite 108, within the Calhoun County Administrative Building on 1702 Noble Street, Anniston, AL 36201. There is no fee to attend. Advanced registration is encouraged.
