JACKSONVILLE -- March 1, 2001 --
.JSU's Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) is sponsoring an Employment
Skills workshop. Pearl Williams will host the workshop Monday, March 5
from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Room 302 of the Theron Montgomery Building. The workshop will include tips on how to write resumes, dress for interviews, prepare and rehearse for an interview and what to ask an interviewer. Mrs. Williams will also address career planning. She will go over the steps to take and the places to go for full-time, part-time and temporary employment. Students majoring in ALL fields of study are invited to attend. For more information about this workshop, please contact Pearl Williams at 256-782-5475. ACE also has a test for students to help them decide what field they want to pursue in college. The name of the test is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and is free for all students. |
