Kaleidoscope Festival Event Features Truman Capote's Alabama Years

JACKSONVILLE -- February 14, 2001 -- Please join us Tuesday, February 20, at 2:00 PM on the 11th floor of Houston Cole Library, as Marianne Moates presents Truman Capote's Alabama Years. This slide and discussion program takes a lively peek at the Alabama relatives and neighbors in Monroeville that inspired such works as "The Thanksgiving Visitor," "A Christmas Memory," "One Christmas," and "The Grass Harp." A reception will follow. This program is sponsored by the Friends of Houston Cole Library and the Alabama Humanities Foundation as part of JSU's Kaleidoscope's Festival of the Arts. The public is welcome.
