  • BRIEF SYNOPSIS

Reno loves Billy who loves Hope who loves Sir Evelyn! Do you think a plot could get more complicated? Just wait! Reno Sweeney is a famous "night-club evangelist" who hops an Europe-bound liner to follow Billy Crocker. Her goal is to convince him to stop pursuing Hope Harcourt. Hope is engaged to marry Sir Evelyn Oakleigh. Add Reno's "Angels," "Noonface Martin, a.k.a. Public Enemy No. 13, and the fact that Billy is a stowaway who must use many disguises to the mix and join us in the delightful confusion which leads to not one, but three surprise weddings. Some of the great classic songs are "Friendship," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "Anything Goes," "You're the Top," and "It's De-Lovely."
