Stand-Up Comedian Paul Jones
Comes To
Jacksonville State University

Mental illness is not something many folks want to talk about these days, much less laugh about, but that is just what Paul Jones does. Many people say they are afraid to tell anyone they have bi-polar illness or depression. Jones embraces it in order to show others they are not alone.

"The students on your campus are my main concern. The 'stigma' surrounding mental illness is causing not only mental health issues to go untreated, but also drug and alcohol abuse to grow in the form of self-medication as well," says Jones.

Everyone -- students, family, and friends -- is invited to come. FREE ADMISSION!!! Come hear Paul Jones on Wednesday, November 5 at 7 p.m. in the Jacksonville State University Leone Cole Auditorium. The Paul E. Jones event will be entertaining as well as educational and is sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)-Jacksonville, JSU Counseling and Career Services, and JSU Athletics.
