Celebrate the Season with a Classic:

JSU A Cappella Choir, Calhoun County Civic Chorale
to Present Handel’s Messiah on November 16
 

 

On Sunday, November 16 at 3 p.m. in The Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Anniston, the JSU A Cappella Choir and Calhoun County Civic Chorale will join forces to perform highlights of George Friedrich Handel's timeless classic oratorio, Messiah. They will be accompanied by an orchestra consisting of JSU students and professional string players from the Birmingham area. The concert will be directed by Dr. Patricia Corbin, JSU Director of Choral Activities. JSU faculty members Teresa Cheatham Stricklin and Nathan Wight will be featured soloists as well as community members, JSU students, and invited guests.

 

Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 4 and are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Seating and parking will be limited so advance purchases are recommended. For tickets, please contact the JSU Choral Department at ext. 5544. The Church of St. Michael and All Angels is located at 1000 West 18th Street in Anniston.
