Interest Meeting Scheduled for
Alpha Phi Alpha-Sponsored
Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Pageant

 

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity will have an interest meeting on November 5 at 8 p.m. in Room 12 Ayers Hall to discuss the upcoming Miss Black & Gold Scholarship Pageant.

This Pageant spotlights the young women's poise, self-confidence, communication skills, intelligence, and beauty. In all, the Miss Black and Gold Pageant encompasses true womanhood, success, and confidence. Academic excellence and scholarship are greatly stressed in the competition with the Fraternity providing the contestants with scholarships to assist with the financial obligations associated with post secondary studies. Miss Black and Gold is a woman who is the personification of style, grace unparalleled, and beauty undefined, but most importantly, she is a woman who has a strong sense of self identity.
