Novelist, Poet, Biographer

Robert Morgan is the author of eleven books of poetry and eight books of fiction, including the award-winning, bestselling novel Gap Creek, an Oprah Book Club selection. Raised in the mountains of North Carolina, his work reflects his southern heritage. In 2007, he received an Academy of Arts and Letters Award for Literature.  He has won numerous other awards and is currently a Kappa Alpha Professor of English at Cornell University.

 

Mr. Morgan will discuss his latest book, Boone: A Biography.  He also plans to read a poem from The Strange Attractor: New and Selected Poems and will speak about Brave Enemies: A Novel of the American Revolution.
