Alcohol Awareness Week
October 20-24, 2008

Counseling & Career Services and the JSU Peer Educators are proud to announce the calendar of events for Alcohol Awareness Week 2008. This year, the theme for National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week is U DECIDE, which stresses the importance of students helping each other to make smart decisions to promote their health and safety.

Alabama State Troopers will co-sponsor events on Tuesday, October 21. The troopers will bring one of their "BAT Mobiles" to JSU. These vehicles allow state troopers to conduct roadside breath alcohol tests of suspected drunken drivers.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and remember: "It's a friends thing. Don't drink and drive."
