JSU Wellness-Anniston to Host
Education, Screening Event on Monday

On Monday, October 20 at 6 p.m., JSU Wellness-Anniston will host an education and screening outreach. The outreach will be held at Faith Outreach Ministries, 2900 Moore Avenue in Anniston.

In observance of breast cancer awareness month, the JSU College of Nursing will facilitate this event with a presentation on breast cancer and testicular cancer. There will also be a brief testimonial from a 4 year cancer survivor. JSU College of Nursing will also provide blood pressure screenings.

JSU Wellness-Anniston is available to provide education and blood pressure screenings at churches and businesses.

. Adult Immunizations
. Crystal Meth Abuse
. Smoking Cessation
. Alzheimer's Awareness

In addition, JSU Wellness-Anniston offers a variety of free screening services at its Wellness Center every Wednesday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.. The Wellness Center is located at the Bridge, adjacent to the First United Methodist Church on Noble Street in Anniston.

. Hearing Screening.
