Ciganek Elected Conference Chair

Dr. Andrew Ciganek from the MCIS department at Jacksonville State University was recently elected Program Chair for the 2010 Southern Association for Information Systems (SAIS) conference to be held in Atlanta, Georgia. The election took place during on March 13 at the 2009 SAIS conference in Charleston, South Carolina.

Being elected to the position of Program Chair, Dr. Ciganek will have the role of Conference Chair for the 2011 SAIS conference and will be preside as President of the SAIS in 2012.

SAIS, founded in 1997, is the first and oldest chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), a professional organization whose purpose is to serve as the premier global organization for academics specializing in the Information Systems field..
