February Academe:
"The Travelers in Hamlet"

The February meeting of Academe will be Tuesday, February 24, at 3:15 p.m. in 1101 C, Houston Cole Library.

Dr. Carmine DiBiase, Professor of English, will speak on "The Travelers in HAMLET." Dr. DiBiase will discuss how the lack of movement in the play, especially in the earlier acts, underscores something that is just the opposite: "the Renaissance culture of travel and discovery and the shaping force it exert[s] on the play and its characters."

Please join us as Dr. DiBiase explores one of the many facets that make HAMLET such an outstanding piece of literature.
