Hey folks! If you are looking for a place to call home, then you need look no further than Jacksonville State University!My name is Joseph McMullen, and I am proud to serve as the Admissions Counselor for the Northern Alabama region. As a two-time JSU alumnus, I am glad to continue calling Jax State my second “home.” After graduating from Cedar Bluff High School, my college journey took me from Gadsden State (and later) to Jacksonville State University. I am a first-generation college graduate and a transfer student. In my free time I enjoy writing creatively (especially poetry), walking in nature (and photographing it), reading, and the occasional strategy (or retro) video game! Fortunately for me – Jax State accommodates all of those passions!The journey from high school to university may seem challenging – but don’t worry – I will gladly do all I can to help you through the process.
