Audition for Tipping Point
The JSU Department of Theatre and Film is producing Tipping Point, a story of a misguided kid who gets brainwashed by a talk radio host.
Principal photography is scheduled to take place January 11-22, 2022 in and around Jacksonville, AL.

We are casting the following characters.
TEDDY (MALE EARLY 20s).
A lost kid with some college and no direction. Works in a restaurant while dreaming of a better life. LEAD
RADIO HOST (50s)
An on-air conspiracy theory talk show host that is dominant, relentless and always hypocritical. SUPPORTING. VO ONLY
ALICE (FEMALE 30s)
A caring single mother who wants to see Teddy make something of himself. SUPPORTING.
NANCY (FEMALE 50s)
Restaurant owner who only cares about the end of day sales receipts. SUPPORTING
ELIZA (FEMALE 30s)
Married to a lazy man and looking for attention. SUPPORTING
MAN (MALE 40s)
A nice guy who’s helping Alice play a beneficial prank on Teddy. DAY PLAYER
GERALD (MALE 40s)
Teddy’s unforgiving and judgmental father. A big man. DAY PLAYER
VET (MALE 70+)
Wrinkled and fearless war vet in a bright red scooter. American flag mounted proudly. DAY PLAYER
POSER (MALE 30S)
A basement dwelling mama’s boy who thinks he’s bad ass when hanging out with his paramilitary buddies. DAY PLAYER
WOMAN (FEMALE 40S)
Wife of the man; also helping play a beneficial prank on Teddy. DAY PLAYER
