Call for Submissions
Call for presentation submissions is open until October 6th. When completing the form, please choose your preferred presentation format style and time availability. We will do everything possible to accommodate your preferences. Once submissions close and presenters are placed into timeslots, we will contact presenters to double-check the schedule. Please direct questions to Faculty Commons (mmecham@jsu.edu) or to one of the FRS committee members. Certificates of participation will be given to all faculty who take part in the symposium.
Presentation Descriptions:
The Inaugural Interdisciplinary Faculty Research Symposium is a celebration of the scholarly and creative research of our faculty, whose professional work demonstrates the critical role research plays in the advancement of education and the mission of learning.
The hope of the committee is to provide JSU faculty with a place to share their passions with colleagues, encourage discourse across disciplines, and learn from and receive constructive feedback on professional projects. We are excited to see how this event develops in the future and will continue to cultivate the process for faculty submissions and scholarship review as we grow.
Certificates will be given to recognize those who participate, as well as awards for long presentations and poster presentations. An awards reception will take place following the event (5:00 pm). Participants and attendees are cordially invited to attend.
