Jeff Pruitt began teaching at JSU as a Graduate Assistant in 2014 for Geography. After graduating, he began teaching at Chattanooga State Community College as an adjunct English instructor. He would then return to JSU in the fall of 2017 to be a full-time instructor of various English courses. Some of the specific topics he teaches includes oral communication, African American literature, and advanced composition. He also teaches English as a Second Language (ESL) courses and has a dog and a cat.
