Co-Teaching
The College of Education and Professional Studies at Jacksonville State University is proud to be a leader in utilizing the co-teaching strategy of teaching across all disciplines. Regardless of your teaching major or where you are placed for your clinical experiences, you will be exposed to the strategies of co-teaching throughout your program. The clinical experiences will be based on the co-teaching model where the teacher candidate and the cooperating teacher in an accredited school will work collaboratively to plan and teach lessons as one teacher.
