Representative Dr. Barbara Boyd, former Jacksonville City Councilwoman President Mrs. Sandra Sudduth, and Anniston City Councilwoman and Vice Mayor Ms. Ciara Smith will join the women of JSU's SGA and JSU women to discuss the significance of women in politics.

This March 2021, Jacksonville State University in association with The Anniston Star will conduct a picture and essay contest to celebrate Women’s History Month with the winning pictures and essays published in The Anniston Star.
