Dr. Tinnon Brock came to JSU in 2016 from Long Beach , Mississippi. She received her Ph.D. in Geography from Kansas State University. Her specialty is Medical Geography and Hazards and Disasters. She also specializes in Water Resources, Latin America, and the American Southwest. She serves as faculty coordinator for the Geography Club, Alabama Water Watch and the Graduate Teaching Assistants. She is an avid hiker and photographer and is the mother of two cats, Tualeah and Momma, and two Chihuahuas, Jake and Sam.
