Mark Hearn came to JSU in 1989 after completing his Ph. D in Business Administration at the University of Arkansas. He is a tenured full professor. He teaches Business Communications at the undergraduate and graduate level. His research interests focus on university and community outreach, economic conditions in the region, questionnaire design, and face to face versus online evaluation issues. My Approach and a Request. I feel that it is my task to prepare you for that future employer that will never understand any excuse or forgive any failure. You need to get the job done on time and as requested. Things happen. I do understand. However, I don't forgive. I grade. Fight me. Argue with me. Curse me. But, please don't bore me!
