American Red Cross CPR/AED
American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer program trains professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. Participants will learn the proper use of resuscitation masks, bag-valve masks, two-person CPR, and AEDs.
The updated blended learning format (online learning with instructor-led skill session) requires a 3 hour online learning section that must be completed 2 days before the scheduled date of the class. The classroom portion is a 2-hour review and hands-on skill-based session. Certification is valid for 2 years from the class date.
