Sexual Assault Awareness Month

In the United States, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it.  We all know that one month isn’t enough to solve the serious and widespread issue of sexual assault. However, the attention April generates is an opportunity to energize and expand prevention efforts throughout the year.  To be clear, Sexual Assault Awareness Month is about more than awareness — the ultimate goal is prevention.  Therefore, we have compiled the following resources for you to use to learn more/ do more during this time, even though we are not together at one location.  Let’s use this opportunity to have a positive impact even from our own homes.
