Over 27 years post-masters experience as a professional social worker including 17 years in an administrative capacity. Experience includes individual, family, group, and marital counseling, supervision, program development, administration, training, and consultation.

Served as a social worker for United Charities of Chicago, a family services agency from 1971 to 1975.

Director of Professional Services and Director of Residential Treatment Programs for Methodist Youth Services in Chicago, IL from 1975 to 1986. Responsible for agency-wide professional service programs, staff development, recruitment, and coordinating the clinical program.

Clinical Director for Centers for New Horizons in Chicago, IL from 1986-88. Responsible for staff supervision and coordinating the treatment program for a day school program for emotionally-disturbed and behavior-disordered children.

Program Director of Centers for New Horizons Day School Program in 1988 for a period of one year.

Project Director for Chicago Commons Family Preservation Programs from 1989 to 1993. Promoted to Assistant Director of Child Welfare in 1993.

Trainer for Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Chicago, Illinois, and a lecturer at Malcolm X College, Aurora University, and Chicago State University.

Consultant to social service agencies and joined RSP and Associates Consultant Firm as a partner in 1991 and remained until 1994.
