Lieutenant Colonel Gregory Pass is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Adjutant General Corps. He holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. His secondary MOS is in Logistics. After graduation, Lieutenant Colonel Pass' first assignment was as an Executive Officer with the 22nd Replacement Detachment at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He subsequently served in a variety of Command and Staff positions with 6/12 Calvary Regiment at Fort Knox, Kentucky; 7th Brigade, 100th Division (IT) at Fort Knox, Kentucky; 6th Brigade, 100th Division (IT) in Louisville, Kentucky; 9th Battalion, 100th Division (IT) in Nashville, Tennessee; 640th Area Support Group in Nashville, Tennessee; 8th Brigade, 100th Division (IT) at Fort Knox, Kentucky; 81st Regional Readiness Command in Birmingham, Alabama; Coalition Forces Land Component Command, Third Army in Bagram, Afghanistan, Third Army at Fort McPherson, Georgia, Deployment Support Command, Birmingham, Alabama and the 401st AFSB in Bagram, Afghanistan. Lieutenant Colonel Pass has completed a total of three combat tours; one in Saudi Arabia and two in Afghanistan respectively. He is currently serving in the position of Battalion Commander for the 7/108th Battalion at Fort Jackson, South Carolina in the Army Reserves.

LTC Pass' military education includes Adjutant General Officer Basic Course, Adjutant General Officer Advanced Course, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, Command and General Staff College and Airborne School.                                                                           
LTC Pass’ awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (with two Oak Leaf Clusters); Army Achievement Medal (with two Oak Leaf Clusters); Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (with Silver Star); National Defense Service Medal (with Bronze Star); Global War on Terrorism; Southwest Asia Service Medal; Armed Forces Reserve Medal (with Bronze M & 2 device); Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Armed Forces Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; NATO Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon (with Three Oak Leaf Clusters); Afghan Campaign Medal; Kuwait Liberation Medal (SA); Kuwait Liberation Medal (Government of Kuwait), and Parachutists Badge.
