Group Fitness Class Descriptions

All classes meet in Stephenson Hall

  • Body Blast!:  Get your body moving in this fun class!  Designed to use different muscles and fun moves, combined with music, small equipment, and energy, you will blast your way to feeling good! 
  • Buti Yoga:   This fun workout will transform your BODY & SOUL with cardio-intensive bursts of tribal dance, primal movement, and conditioning woven into a dynamic yoga practice.  Sweat with intention as you release built up tension and move in sync with the breath.
  • Cocky Theory:  Get Cocky! A mixture of low-intensity to high-intensity interval training to fit all levels of fitness! Many types of exercises as well as various challenges throughout the class to mark and keep up with your progress so you stay pumped!  It’s a different workout each day! 
  • Cardio Dance:  Come move to the groove with a variety of modern music, coupled with body weight exercise!  You will have so much fun, it won’t seem like you are working out! 
  • Fusion:  Step out of the box with a dynamic blend of cardio, strength, and flexibility!  Come challenge yourself on Fridays with Stephanie! 
  • FIT You:  Come join us for Core, Cardio, and Body Weight Training combined for a new FIT You!  Fun music and different workouts each day! 
  • HIIT:  High Intensity Interval Training is exactly what it sounds like …. But it’s also really fun! A great workout you can do at your own pace ….. And let us challenge you to the next level!
  • Lunch Yoga:  Give your body a break from your desk by moving through gentle poses bringing ease to the body and balance to the breath. Focusing on releasing the spine, this class is suitable for all fitness levels. Great for a lunch break, as you just need to dress comfortably. All are welcome!
  • Pound: Pound it out! Get some stress & sweat out of your system with this exciting workout! Pound incorporates good music, proper mechanics, and solid heart rates to create an awesome total body session.
  • TRX and TRX Mix:  Take your fitness to another level!  Strap up and get down to combined strength training and cardio in TRX! TRX bands help create supported body weight exercises that EVERYONE can participate in.  Unique total body workout with a variety of exercises!  Space is limited - come early!  TRX Mix add a twist!
  • Rasta Fit:  Ready for a unique workout each day?  That’s because YOU get to help choose the exercises!  Join Tafari for a lunch time workout combination of core, body weight moves, lower body, upper body, cardio, you name it from low intensity to high intensity!  Fun and challenging at the same time!
  • Sculpt & Tone: Join us for a non-aerobic, muscle-toning class, focused on core and overall body strength! Stretching and strengthening moves will help sculpt and tone you up!
  • STRONG by Zumba:  STRONG by Zumba is a High Intensity Interval Training class with traditional fitness moves for a more athletic conditioning-style workout. Train to the beat!  Low base & high levels for every one!
  • Sunrise Yoga:  Start your day off by bringing awareness to the mind-body connection in Sunrise Yoga. This practice is friendly to beginner and intermediate levels. It incorporates strength, fluidity and balance of the body with a focus on breath to lead each movement.
  • Yin Yoga:  This class is designed for those prefer a slower pace and a calming relaxing atmosphere. It includes centering, restorative as well as active yoga postures, and breathing practices combined to enhance your well-being, tone and strengthen your muscles, and improve your ROM or flexibility.
  • Yoga Flow:  A fitness-based approach to Vinyasa style Yoga.  Focuses on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow of body movements. Builds strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind.
