Dr. Pamela J. Hoyes Beehler currently serves as Chief Science Officer for RC21X (https://www.rc21x.com/index.php ) and is responsible for test design, development, analytics, and quality control. She received a Ph.D. in Human Performance from Indiana University, a M.Ed. in Physical Education and Health from East Stroudsburg University, and a B.S. in Community Recreation from The Pennsylvania State University.  Dr. Beehler’s academic area of specialty is motor control and learning, and her research interests include human performance assessment and functioning, measurement theory, and decision making strategies.  

Dr. Beehler is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at Arlington in the Department of Bioengineering and has held prior academic positions in Kinesiology at the University of North Texas, Northern Kentucky University, Wichita State University, and The University of Texas at Arlington. She has served as a Department Chair at two of those institutions, and was a core-investigator with the Human Performance Institute at The University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Beehler has been a member and Research Fellow with the American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD), and a member of the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity (NASPSPA).  She also served as editor of Women in Sport and Physical Activity Journal and was a member of the women’s basketball and softball teams at The Pennsylvania State University.

She and President John Beehler have been married for 39 years and have one daughter, Kristin, who was a Captain in the United States Army, but is now enrolled in a MBA program.  Dr. Beehler enjoys reading, traveling and a physically active lifestyle.  She especially enjoys biking on the Chief Ladiga Trail and golfing throughout the beautiful state of Alabama!
