The Records Section handles all reports generated by the Jacksonville State University Police Department. Our goal is to provide 100% customer service to both our internal and external customers. The Section does this by storing, retrieving, reproducing, and delivering reports to all of our customers.
To obtain a copy of your report, you may request it through the mail or in person at our customer service window located at UPD in Salls Hall. Reports are usually available two to three working days after the incident. We do not release information about incidents over the telephone. The hours of operation for the public are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Records Section is closed on weekends and holidays.
The fee for a copy of accident reports is $10.00. The fee for a copy of an incident, offense, or arrest report is $5.00 for all parties, except a listed victim. There is no fee for victims.
