Phi Kappa Phi Grants and Awards for Faculty

National Scholar and Artist Awards

The National Scholar Award recognizes excellence in teaching, research, and public service. The National Artist Award recognizes the achievements of those who, in addition to their outstanding scholarship, have displayed talents in the broad realm of the arts - creative, graphic, performing, visual, and/or fine arts.

Awardees receive $5,000 honoraria, a one year active membership in Phi Kappa Phi, a recognition certificate, and the opportunity to present their work at the Phi Kappa Phi national convention.

The JSU Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi may nominate one individual for each of these awards.  Each award is given to one individual every three years.  Nominees must be active members of Phi Kappa Phi.  Although nominees are usually faculty members, the chapter may nominate members who are not affiliated with JSU (such as alumni).
