Jacksonville State University's College of Commerce and Business Administration is accredited by AACSB-International, the premier accrediting body for business programs. Jacksonville State University is also accredited by the The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award the Master of Business Administration degree.
The primary mission of the College of Commerce and Business Administration is to provide high quality, innovative undergraduate and graduate management education, primarily for the citizens of Northeast Alabama. Educational programs are designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the dynamic, global environment of profit and nonprofit organizations. Complementing the primary responsibility of excellence in teaching, faculty scholarship and service are also valued. The faculty, staff, and administration of the College are committed to continuously improving the quality of academic programs, student support activities, and service to the local and regional community.
The College of Commerce and Business Administration has been included in the 2010 Princeton Review of "The Best 301 Business Schools." Current enrollment is comprised of over 1,000 students from throughout Alabama, across the nation, and from foreign countries. The CCBA is a proud member of national honor societies including Beta Gamma Sigma, the academic honor society for AACSB International accredited Colleges of Business. The outstanding faculty have been featured in national publications. CCBA distinguished graduates have also achieved success both nationally and internationally. Course offerings are comprehensive, and include E-Commerce courses.
Hours to Complete: The MBA requires 30 hours to complete; however, students may have to take up to 24 hours of foundation courses, depending on their undergraduate major.
