National Survey of Student Engagement 2014 (NSSE)
In spring 2014, selected freshmen and seniors will be invited via JSU e-mail to participate in NSSE starting February 11. NSSE is an annual survey administered by the Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University; it collects information directly from selected freshmen and seniors - information that JSU can use to improve teaching, learning, and campus life. JSU has participated in the study every two years since 2006. At JSU, NSSE is sponsored by the Office of the President, the Office of Planning and Research, the Office of Counseling and Disability Support Services, and the Student Government Association ( SGA).

Faculty Survey of Student Engagement 2014 (FSSE)
Beginning April 2, all faculty will be invited to participate in the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) which complements NSSE. It is designed to measure faculty expectations for students engagement in educational practices that are empirically linked with high levels of student learning and development.
FSSE identifies areas of institutional strength as well as aspects of the undergraduates experience that may warrant attention. To learn more about it, please visit www.fsse.iub.edu.
