Mrs. Scroggin earned a BSN and MSN from Jacksonville State University. Her Master's degree focused on Community Health and Nursing Education, after which she earned certification as a Public Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her nursing experience includes a wide variety of fields from acute care to school health to community nursing. Having lived in South Africa and Bolivia, Mrs. Scroggin provides a depth of understanding of cross-cultural issues for U.S. and international students in her classes. Currently Mrs. Scroggin teaches in the Community Health course in the Department of Nursing at Jacksonville State University. Mrs. Scroggin is married and lives in Cherokee County, Alabama.
