Dr. Francia Represents Alabama as College Board Reader for Computer Science Exams

Dr. Francia in AP Computer Science Reading Dr. Guillermo A. Francia, III, professor of computer science, was selected to participate in the annual reading and scoring of the College Board’s AP Computer Science Examinations held on June 04-11,2008 in Louisville, KY.

This year, the AP program in Computer Science (APCS) had more than 20,000 exams in both the A and AB levels. These exams were evaluated by approximately 160 readers from the United States, Canada, and abroad. Dr. Francia solely represented the state of Alabama in the APCS reading.
Dr. Francia is a certified Advanced Placement Computer Science (APCS) Syllabi Reviewer for the College Board. The certification was awarded by the Educational Policy Improvement Center (EPIC) in 2007.
