Annual Jazz Festival Breaks it Down on March 31


The 6th Annual JSU Jazz Festival will be held on Friday, March 31, and will feature eight High School Bands, all 10 JSU Jazz groups, and Grammy-Award Winning Trumpeter Ashlin Parker. Parker will be performing with the Downbeat Award-Winning JSU Jazz Ensemble I at the noon concert.

9:30 a.m. – BB Comer High School
10:00 a.m. – Sandy Creek High School
10:30 a.m. – JSU Jazz Ensemble II
11:00 a.m. – Improvisation Clinic (JSU Jazz Faculty)
12:00 noon – JSU Jazz Ensemble I with Ashlin Parker
1:00 p.m. – Meet the Artist with Ashlin Parker
2:00 p.m. – JSU Latin Ensemble
2:30 p.m. – Cartersville High School
3:00 p.m. – Lakeview High School
3:30 p.m. – Baker Jazz Band
4:00 p.m. – Sparkman High School
4:30 p.m. – Baker Big Band
5:00 p.m. – 313th Army Band Jazz Combo
