Get Inspired at Student Art and Film Exhibition on Dec. 3

Never underestimate the power of your own imagination. That’s the theme of “Echo of Smoke,” one of the short films on the marquee at the JSU Film Student Showcase on Dec. 3, 7 p.m., in the JSU Roundhouse. Enjoy an entire evening of art by first attending “NOW,” the senior exhibition of JSU art majors, to be held next door at Hammond Hall Gallery from 5 to 7 p.m. It will feature the works of students Stephanie Blackston, Aimee Coutu, Brett DeBoer, Morgan Edge, Ariel Graham, Katie Hicks, Kayla McGlathery, Megan Sosebee, Emily Muir, Matthew Blaskowski, Jasmine Hammond, Sebastian Mendez and Joshua Bourke. Admission to the art exhibit and film showcase are free and open to the public.
