U.S. Senator Richard Shelby Visits JSU

On February 19, 2015, U.S. Senator Richard Shelby visited Jacksonville State University’s Houston Cole Library for a noon luncheon hosted by JSU President Dr. William A. Meehan. The visit was Senator Shelby's Calhoun County stop on a tour of all Alabama counties. Also in attendance were area mayors and Chamber of Commerce representatives. During the luncheon Dr. Christie Shelton, dean of the JSU College of Nursing, and Mark Hopwood of JSU's Center for Applied Forensics updated Sen. Shelby on their programs.
