The Symphonic Band is another of the several offered at JSU. The Symphonic Band, like the Chamber Winds and Wind Ensemble, utilizes the practice of flexible instrumentation, performing some of the more difficult band literature available, as well as the band repertoire standards. The band includes both music and non-music major students. Membership is selected by audition.
