- To find journal, magazine, or newspaper articles:
- Set up your browser for off-campus access to electronic resources available only to JSU users.
- Choose a database to search from a subject or alphabetical listing.
- See a list of databases licensed by the library containing full text articles.
- See Serials Solutions, which cross-indexes full-text journal databases, to determine if a journal is available in one of the library's full-text databases.
- To see a list of library materials you have checked out, due dates, and fines.
- You must select the Patron Information option in our catalog.
- To see a list of materials an instructor has put on reserve.
- You must select the Course Reserve option in our catalog.

Document Delivery.

- Fill out a document delivery request form.
- Library Instruction for JSU Distance Education
- Library faculty are available (in person, via telecommunications, etc.) to provide instruction to JSU students at off-campus sites. Faculty may request instruction sessions by completing the Library Instruction Session Request Form or by contacting John-Bauer Graham, Dean of Library Services at (256) 782-5255.
- Patrons may practice their library skills using an interactive library tutorial.
