MEDLINE (PubMed) provides citations and abstracts of articles. It does NOT provide full text of the articles. ONLY registered users who have set up a "Loansome Doc" account with a participating health sciences library may order the full-text of articles (applicable fees apply).
Note that the Houston Cole Library DOES NOT participate in the Loansome Doc program; therefore, you will NOT be able to order documents online through our library.
To obtain articles cited in MEDLINE, users must:
- Check the JSU Library Catalog to see if we subscribe to the journal needed.
- Come to the library, find the journal, and make a photocopy of the article.
There are two access points for this database. One is through the National Library of Medicine, and the other is through Cambridge Scientific Abstracts. The National Library of Medicine resource has unrestricted access, while the CSA resource has restricted access.
