Courtney Peppers-Owen is the Director of Learning Services (LS). She came to Learning Services as a student worker in 2000. She graduated from JSU in 2002 with her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in English, and from JSU in 2006 with her M.A. in English.
She coordinates the learning assistant program for Learning Services, specializing in English Competency Exam Remediation. In addition, she assists faculty and staff with departmental, as well as College of Arts & Sciences needs. In 2007, she began Adjunct Teaching in Learning Services' Academic Success Skills courses.
Her summers are spent directing the developmental studies program, ExSEL (Experiencing Success in Education & Life).
In May 2012, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
