Jason is originally from Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina but spent eight years teaching in South Korea, where he also earned his Masters Degree at Sogang University. He has a passion for traveling, learning languages and making sure students have a fun time!
Cindy Jeffers

Cindy Jeffers is a native of Dekalb County, Alabama. Cindy came to Jacksonville State University in September 2003. After working in Emergency Management, she moved to the English Language Institute in 2005. First as secretary and then program coordinator. In November 2017, she moved to the International House as coordinator of international admissions. Cindy has a special interest in international students and their educational needs.

Sushant Chhetry is an international student from the country of the Himalayas, Nepal. He is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science. He is part of the International House program and is also the Vice President of Activities of ISO (International Student Organization). He believes in sharing, learning and experiencing new cultures and traditions from around the world and says that he is fortunate to do so by being a part of as well as working at the International House.
Lauren McKenzie

Lauren McKenzie is from Hueytown, AL and is majoring in Biology (Pre-Health) hoping to achieve her dream of becoming an OB/GYN. She loves to interact with new people and help anyone in need. She also loves learning about new cultures. She says working at the International House is a blessing, because she gets to do what she loves the most, helping those around her and learn about new cultures.

Catherine Lomax is a student from Huntsville, Alabama. She is studying Integrated Studies in hopes of working with children when she graduates. She gets to learn about all kinds of different cultures she never knew about. She also loves to work at the International House because that means she gets to make new friends from all around the world.
