The Emergency Management (EM) program at Jacksonville State University was established in 1998. We were one of the first fully-accredited EM degree programs in the United States. We now have a very robust program with well over 500 active students enrolled. We offer Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Science degrees in emergency management that support a unique and rapidly-growing career field. Please find out details about our program requirements, faculty profiles, and much more on this homepage.

We are proud to announce JSU's first doctoral degree, the Doctor of Science in Emergency Management.
