You will want to be familiar with the conveniently located on-campus dining facilities to stay well nourished and socialize with others. Whether you’re craving pizza, nachos, vegetarian, or wings, there are plenty of food options to match everyone's taste.

Campus Dining Services operates two dining facilities, Jack Hopper Dining Hall (the caf) and the Gamecock Diner, which provide delicious and nutritious meals to students living on campus. Both locations offer a lively, welcoming atmosphere where students come not only to eat but to socialize and relax. The caf offers many different food stations for students to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Every day features a wide variety of wholesome, healthy, and tasty foods on an all-you-care-to-eat basis. The Gamecock Diner is more of a restaurant-style atmosphere. You place your order at a kiosk that sends your order to the chef. He/she will prepare your plate as requested while you make your salad and get your beverage and dessert.

Residents living in Crow, Curtiss, Daugette, Dixon, Fitzpatrick, Logan, Patterson, Sparkman, and Stadium Tower are required to purchase a meal plan. Residents with a meal plan may use their student ID card in any of the retail locations or dining halls. When used in the dining halls, one swipe equals one meal. Flex dollars are included with each of the four types of meal plans and can be used in the dining halls or retail locations. Flex dollars work like a declining balance account and students may add more money to their flex account at any time throughout the semester.
