Beth claims to be from Birmingham, Ala. but being a military kid has lived all over the U.S. She earned her B.S. in Recreation Leadership from JSU and has worked for six non-profit residential adventure summer camps over the past 14 years. In 2014 Beth spent a year abroad on international missions in 11 countries. Upon her return home she embarked on a career where she could serve others, build relationships, and be herself. After spending almost three years of character building and patience testing working full-time in rural public high schools she found herself ecstatic at the prospect of returning home to JSU. Beth is currently the Scholarships Program Assistant under the university finance and budget administration.

She is passionate about helping students find Scholarships and maintaining the ones they already have. During her 5 years as a student at JSU not only was she intensely involved on campus but she was awarded $69,121.18 in scholarships, none of which were academic!

Beth resides in Leesburg, Ala. with her husband Paul and cat Honey. In her spare time she enjoys giving back by being a scholarship donor for the Miss Alabama Pageant Organization and is on the board of directors for The Sound of Hope a 501c(3) raising awareness and funds of nearly 1milllion dollars for orphans and vulnerable children around the world.
